Please see below a copy of the review I have done for Trip Adviser My friend and I have just returned from a trip to New York City during which we had arranged a walking tour of Greenwich Village. It turned out that we were the only two people on the tour which was led by Michael Jascz. Because it was only us on the tour (although we did eavesdrop on other tours going round at the same time!) it was like a friend showing you the area they lived in. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip during which Michael gave us lots of information about people and places in the area and really brought the area to life both currently and in the past. It was great to see where people live now and to find out about things you had only heard about in books, films and the press etc such as Stonewall and singers such as Peter Paul & Mary, Bob Dylan etc (showing my age there!) I would thoroughly recommend this tour. My only warning would be that after the tour we went back to a cafe which Michael had shown us due to its art collection. The coffee and pancakes were great as was the atmosphere but the toilets were filthy - be warned!
A little expensive. Would be good if everyone was on time to start.
