Visit New York’s top attraction and browse through one of the biggest art collections in the world at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Colloquially known as ‘The Met,’ the museum holds two million works of art spanning 5,000 years of culture from around the world.
Enter the grand Great Hall and see an encyclopedic collection of art, spanning from ancient Egypt to Impressionists paintings, Greek and Roman galleries to works from leading contemporary artists. The Met is also home to more than 30 special exhibitions each year, and boasts a range of guided tours, all of which are included in your admission ticket.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art also contains an enormous collection of over 25,000 photographs from a wide-range of genres including early British, French, American and post-World War One photography.
