See America’s most iconic monuments on a New York to Washington D.C. and Philadelphia Day Trip!
Meet your guide at the designated meeting point. You will first head towards Washington D.C. where you will visit Iwo Jima Memorial, dedicated to honor the US Marines, raising the American flag at the battle of Iwo Jima, Japan. You will continue to the impressive Lincoln Memorial built in honor of the president who abolished slavery. You will catch the glimpse of iconic landmarks including White house, Capitol building, home of the US Congress and so on. You will have time for lunch at your own expense. A visit to one of the Smithsonian museums, the world famous National Air and Space Museum.
Next, you will make your way to Philadelphia. Your first stop will be at the Independence National Historical Park where your guide will lead you on a brief walking tour. Witness the historical sites such as Liberty Bell, the famous symbol of America’s independence, the birthplace of United State where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution was adopted. Your tour ends with a stop at the Rocky Steps, where you'll have an opportunity to re-enact the famous scene from the 1976 movie by ascending to the top of the steps.
