    The closest subway stops are Penn Station/34th St. on the 1, 2, or 3 lines and 34th St/Avenue of the Americas on the B, D, F, N, Q, and R lines.

    Empire State Building:
    Make your way to the Empire State Building entrance at Fifth Avenue between 33rd & 34th Streets. To obtain your Empire State Building Main Deck Ticket, you should present your booking voucher at the ticket office located on the 2nd floor of the building.

On a clear day, you can see up to 80 miles away, including views of Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, as well as the five New York boroughs.     There is nothing quite like the magnificence of the New York skyline as viewed from a helicopter. This exhilarating helicopter ride takes you all over Manhattan, giving you a bird’s eye view of some of the iconic buildings. You will fly past America’s most famous landmark: The Statue of Liberty. Then, get a bird’s eye view of Ellis Island, along with the beautiful New York Harbor.

    Your route will take you over the financial capital of the world, Manhattan’s Financial District, and the new Freedom Tower. You will then fly over Midtown, where you will see the Empire State, Chrysler, Woolworth, and Met Life (Pan Am) Buildings. Finally, catch a glimpse of the George Washington Bridge before taking in the green expanse of the world-renowned Central Park. The thrilling helicopter tour comes to an end at the Downtown Heliport.

    Visitors and their belongings are subject to inspection. The Empire State Building appreciates your patience and understanding of these procedures and the additional time that may be required.

    All visitors to the Empire State Building must pass through primary security screening (similar to airport security procedure) before going to the Observatory.

    There are no locker storage facilities at the Empire State Building for personal belongings.

    In case of an emergency, please contact a Security Officer or an Observatory representative.

    Tickets are for one-time use only.

    The items listed are not permitted for entry into the Empire State Building. Do not carry any of these items into the security screening area. Items that are confiscated may not be returned. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, so if you are unsure about an item, please do not bring it.

    * All weapons, including firearms, ammunition, knives, swords, scissors, mace, any dangerous items and any dual-use items that could be dangerous are strictly prohibited in the Empire State Building.

    * Glass items, including bottles, glasses, marbles, etc.

    * Alcoholic beverages.

    * Cans, bottles, flasks, etc.

    * Large, professional-size video cameras.

    * Camera stands: mono-pods, bi-pods and tri-pods.

    * Sports equipment such as skateboards, roller skates, golf clubs, baseball bats, hockey sticks, baseballs, footballs, tennis balls, etc.

    * Marking instruments, including spray paint and markers.

    * Musical instruments.

    * Large packages, suitcases, carry-on luggage and other such parcels.

    * Costumes and masks.

    Empire State Building Observatory is temporarily receiving visitors only through the 34th St. entrances of the building due to a closure of the 5th Avenue entrance.

    All passengers are required to pay a $40.00 per person facility fee upon arrival at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport.

    All passengers on helicopter tour must carry a photo identity card, such as a passport or driver’s license.

    Max capacity of a helicopter is 6 passengers and 1 pilot.

    Children under 2 years of age AND under 35 lbs. fly for free when sitting on an adult’s lap.
